Hello Knox Submission by Alan MacKenna
We live in a very beautiful City....a City that has suddenly become aware of how fortunate we are to live here and how, within just a few days, our ability to survive is challenged in so many unexpected ways. In the “suddenness” we are all learning how important it is to care for our families, our neighbors and our friends.
All around there are examples of an awakening that allows us to pause and respond, and to be more aware of the gifts we have. While for now we must live "two meters apart”, or even in isolation, we are strangely more together, finding new ways to care for each other while we communicate visually and by word...we have time to listen!
Who knows how long the challenge will last but we can use the time well by experiencing together how we can live in a more caring world. It will be a hard, but good, lesson with a promise of a better tomorrow.
Blessings to all along the way.
