“Come to the edge.”

“We can’t.  We’re afraid.
“Come to the edge.”

“We can’t.  We will fall!”

“Come to the edge.”

And they came.

And he pushed them.

And they flew

Call to worship and opening prayer:

As we gather together for worship, we know that some among us come seeking comfort; others inspiration, still others community and insight.

God, we all come seeking to open and offer ourselves to Your powerful and healing presence and we pray together.

Almighty God, to whom all hearts are open, all desire known, and from whom no secrets are hid: inspire us with your Holy Spirit, that we may perfectly love you and show our love by caring for each other and for this beautiful earth that supports us and sustains us with life and air, food and water.  We are called to be co-creators with you…teach us what this really means as we share this wonderful gift that is our home.
