Gracious God, you are breaking into our lives again and we want to be ready. We want to be brave and follow your way. We’re grateful for all the times when we do see you and we do follow you. And, we hold up to you now the times when we missed your presence altogether: when someone was hungry and cold near us and we turned away; when a loved one wanted our attention and we were too busy; when we were selfish and kept our blessings hidden; and when we refused the help of someone else. Prepare us, God. Prepare us to follow You more and more often as we move into the coming week, amen.
