Exploring Faith Team, at Knox, is starting 2 Spiritual Formation Groups in January 2019 as a way to help people in their Christian spiritual renewal journey.

Group One: Introduction to Christian S. F. Group

For the eight sessions ( Tuesdays at 9:30 am, starting January 15) OR (Wednesdays at 9:30 am, starting January 16), the members foster spiritual balance by learning together about the Six Spiritual Traditions of the Church (work book required)

Group Two: Renovare (Renewal) Christian S.F. Group

For those who have completed the Introduction to Christian S.F. The sessions will focus on sharing each member’s weekly practice of the Six Spiritual Traditions of the Church, and to encourage each other to become increasingly more like Jesus. The sessions start January 15, at 5 pm (for every Tuesday) and will end on April 16.

*For registration, please leave your name and contact number by emailing [email protected] by January 9.

For the Introduction group, the workbook cost is $15.

Feedback from the previous participants:

“The classes helped me become aware of the need to be in community with other Christians to grow in our faith.”

“Going to church has become a routine. This book helps me to look back to the beginning of why I started coming to church and what I actually believe. A wake-up call!”

“--- discovering a balanced vision of Christian faith and practice- not just informative, but transformative.”

(This group has) “helped me become more engaged with the Bible Scriptures with others, especially for living the Christian life more deeply and actively today.”

“--- a practical, dynamic process explained in the Workbook to help explore and promote ongoing study, reflection and balance in our lives incorporating key dimensions of each Tradition of Christianity

“Christian teachings became more present and alive during these classes and the weeks that followed.”

“I have a better understanding of what the six Christian traditions are, and an awareness of the disciplines which I need to address in my life.”

“The study has shown me that I need to be more intentional about setting aside time each day to pray and meditate on God’s purpose for my life.”

“I have come to one conclusion about myself which is that I am religious, but not spiritual!  --- Perhaps this course will help me.”
