We are very pleased to be hosting a community Lenten Lecture Series on Loneliness in the Knox United Church Sanctuary.

Everyone is welcome to attend.

Dates: March 20, 27, April 3, and 10

Time: 7 pm

Our lecturers are from Vancouver School of Theology (VST): faculty members, seminary students, and graduate (UCC minister).  Each lecturer will deliver a talk based on the theme of Loneliness for about 40 to 50 minutes. Admission is by donation.

Loneliness & the Arts: the Role of the Arts in Bridging the Church with the Lonely World

Young Tae Choi (B.F.A/M.Div) is the founder of Created to Create Arts Ministry.

He serves as worship leader at Dunwood Place Seniors Complex, New Westminster, BC. He was a Director of Youth Ministry at Vancouver Korean Presbyterian Church and an Executive Art Director in POST-i. He has taught visual art and filmmaking to high school/university students in several art institutions over a period of ten years.

As a filmmaker, Young Tae has also directed both independent and commercial films in South Korea, Mongolia, and New York City. (
