We have been experimenting with a number of music genres during Lent. So we thought it might be interesting to share some of our personal playlists with our community.

Rev Richard's playlist of the week is from K-Pop.

K-pop is a music genre originating in South Korea, characterized by a wide variety of audiovisual elements.

Since the Winter Olympics in PyungChang, South Korea, many people around the world are beginning to appreciate and listen to the simple and melodious Korean pop songs, especially, the Korean drama songs.

Richard tells us his top favourites are from the 2017 drama “Goblin”. I like the entire album, but, my favourite from the album is the first song “Stay with Me” - it’s very a catchy love song - really like the combination between male and female singers, their voice quality and also the mix of ballad and rapping.

I often listen to the songs from this album when I am taking a walk along the path beside the English Bay, Downtown Vancouver. Enjoy!
