Carcking The Code Sermon Series : Part 6 of 7
Text: Revelation 12:1-18 (John 13)
Sermon Title: “Wash One Another’s Feet
The Revelation chapter 12 has a dragon chasing a woman who has given birth to a child, boy. Reading symbolically, the woman represents Eve, the mother of human kind and the dragon, the ancient serpent.
Since the beginning of Genesis, ever since the Garden of Eden, when the ancient serpent persuaded Adam and Eve, a spiritual conflict has been waged between God and Satan for the souls of human beings, which God won through Jesus Christ. The victory has been won through the Savior, in the heavenly realm, but the Satan still wages war in the affairs of earth, still chases after humankind.
So, the struggle continues, through the lies of Satan and the truth of God. The faithful are to stand firm on the truth of God when confronted with the lies and accusations, and to forgive (wash) one another’s wrongs, since we have been washed by the Blood of the Lamb.
