- To gather together as a community to worship and listen to God's word for us.
- To enable all of us at Knox to do ministry through identifying and using our God-given gifts.
- To provide opportunities for spiritual development and learning relevant to today's people.
- To stimulate and maintain the life, numbers and energy of the congregation through effective fund-raising events, fellowship and growth.
- To be open to the unexpected as the Spirit of God moves among us.
- To provide planned hospitality through follow up and caring for newcomers.
- To provide opportunities for dialogue and communication amongst our neighbours and ourselves so that we may identify, understand and respond to specific needs, and better serve each other in the process.
- To examine the extent of our "resources"
(financial, personal and physical) and use them more effectively to meet the needs of our members and the community.
- To support ideas for social action, and take initiative where we see injustices.
- To have Knox Church better known in our community.

- Spread the Christian story of God’s love to our
community.
- Celebrate this story through worship, teaching
and study.
- Be a joyful, vibrant, welcoming, caring, fun-
loving and inclusive congregation.
- Dare to change, take risks and reach out,
recognizing and responding to Knox’s needs and
