Prayer & Share
On the second Tuesday of the month at 7.30 p.m. a group of eight to twelve women meet informally in each others' homes and are offered a mug of tea. The purpose of this group is primarily spiritual growth through sharing of faith experiences, study and prayer. The highlight of the evening is the closing circle in which participants, through spontaneous or intentional, conversational or silent prayer, may express their gratitude, concerns and requests to God. Sometimes, Scripture is studied, others, a devotional writing. Often an inspirational video is viewed and discussed. Sometimes, there is no agenda, but always a subject arises appropriate for pondering.
Though the core group has met for over 25 years, we always welcome new members. Prayer and Share is pleasingly informal: no minutes, reports or leaders. All sharing is done in confidence and a special bond exists among the members.
Adult Study Groups
At Knox, we have a variety of study groups, sometimes meeting in the morning, sometimes in the evening. The groups can focus on a variety of topics including bible study and discussing issues or videos. If you are interested in being part of any adult study, please check the calendar or contact the church office for schedules. |

This is a friendly group of people who meet weekly on Mondays in the Fellowship centre from 10:00am to 3:00pm (Sept-May.)
They enjoy sewing, needlework crafts and quilting. Many sturdy, warm blankets are made for those in need in our city. A wide variety of gift items are created and sold to support other areas of outreach. Come by any Monday to join this group or just see the work in progress.
You would be very welcome!

Tea-Time-Talk is an afternoon tea for seniors on the 4th Tuesday each month (Sept-June.)
It is a time for fellowship with our minister, Rev Sally, and with each other. There is always good conversation over tea and coffee and homemade goodies. Driving can be arranged, if needed.
A warm welcome is assured! |
